Typically you would use bake groups - find more info on that here: https://marmoset.co/posts/toolbag-baking-tutorial/ In this case, it looks like your highpoly is a contiguous surface while the low poly is split into multiple objects - it won't be possible to bake a mesh like this without some sort of seam or artifact…
Like I sed, nice model! Looks pretty high poly. Doesn't look like it's optimized for animation deformation or real time use. Didn't see wire frames through the link you posted.
solved - easy way in affinity photo is to open the swatches panel, then in the options you can import a palette from an image, and you can set up to a 256 color palette. So you can composite a few images together that have the colors you desire. Then just set the display size of the palette to large and screenshot the…
Hello! I’m a beginner 3D artist looking to collaborate on projects to gain real experience working in a team. While I have extensive experience following tutorials, I’m eager to apply my skills in real-world projects and learn from other talented artists. Here are the skills I bring to the table: * Blender: UV unwrapping,…
@Rima is right, it would make your life much easier to use that tutorial and after you have learned his methods you will be able to make any car you want and slowly improve your skills
After some testing, the alternate method using layer blending works* sort of....there are still seams, but you have to be extremeley close up to see them. I had to set the layer amount to -0.45 which sounds like an oddball number, but it was what looked best visually. Still though, the first method is much cleaner.
To add the list of all these great tips: Experiment with some of max's other tools: including the move and relax brush for local tweaks, it's got strength and falloff settings too. And if you happen to have UnwrapPro, you can define density via vertex colors or soft selection. AFAIK the plugin won't let you lock border…
Fundamentally this is the same problem you have when texturing a landscape - you have a relatively low mask density and you need a very high perceived density of information. The same bag of tricks you can find in the billion youtube videos on the subject (ie. noise + height blending between tileables) are applicable and…
