Well the basics of lighting that desert scene are: sun light is a warm color, and the sky light is a cool color. Ambient occlusion creates soft shadowing. Fog helps soften the scene, and emphasize depth. Bloom add more softness and adds glows around the brightest parts. We have some things here that might help you.… -

Watching violence on tv or on film, be it a sports game or an action flick is truly a different experience then partaking in the violence through interactive media. I love games to death...but even I recognize the effect counterstrike has on me when some guy gets 5 headshots in a row from across the map with the desert…
