Hey there ! A WIP post this time ^^ Cosmetics. Yep. Let's talk about them for Star Wars - Redemption. First of all don't worry, I don't plan on going in a "modern" way to incorporate everything from other universes inside the project. The goal remains consistent with Mevenn's story/character and aims just to give more…
So good! Will you do your final shots inside an engine and light it, or do it unlit like your Darksiders War? I'm mostly thinking about the bright Vials, with him having such a shiny armor they look a bit disconnected when they are not reflecting or lighting up his armor. Maybe a light inside the engine would ground them a…
Update since yesterday. Added in some additional beveling to armor plating throughout the robot and claw and also changed the hand. I've begun straying away from the concept for both added detail and improved functionality. Still need to add detail to the yellow armor plating on the claw arm and some adjustments in sizing…

I was finally happy enough with a direction to finalize a concept. The idea behind the concept is that Rubick needed a set of armor…
HAHAHAHA, so true :D The ones that survive the trial of fire and ranks up gets armour! And billions of tax payer money going into that, no wonder those nations pull their funding.
I am not an expert, but I think the brownish color doesnt work well with gold color for the leg and shoe(cant see if it's a big boot or some sort of leg armour).
Thanks for all the comments and critiques. If I havent gotten to them (the changes) already, then I will be soon. Heres my first pass on the armour. Still need to go in for finer details.
reminds me of this idea i once had for a racing game. pick a car, outfit it with all sorts of weapons, add armour plating, improved engines and head off and race.
mm peachy arse.. nice. I agree with steady on the armour, my small suggestion would be adding some catch or mechanism so it looks like she can remove it.
i understand why you've gone for a battledamaged look. but bear in mind that all marines are both responsible for (and punushed for not...) upkeep of their armour, this includes field repairs and repainting with chapter colours.
