this is awesome. I love the wood. har! the red cloth on the cape could use the same dirtying up as the red cloth on the weapon. Otherwise this is amazeballs.
Working on the suit. Decided not to use MD for the suit portion it's so skin tight it wasn't producing the results I wanted in the cloth sim. Will be using it for the scarf and the clothing on the right in the concept.
looks really awesome! Very smooth shading. I feel like the arms feels like cloth instead of rubber(unless cloth was your intention). But its a minor nitpick.
ref: http://www.ffdream.com/downld/images/decors/ff8/050.jpg How is the cloth sculpt? Does it read as cloth? Keep in mind that it is a prop meant to be seen from a distance.
Personally I like to have a base mesh with really rough anatomy and move the clothes to fit that. it really helps the clothes feel like there is something there. Just a tip that I use.
Hello everyone. My work for Escape from Tarkov game cinematic. My responsibilities were clothes sewing, clothes simulation, modeling (gun, props, enviroment, part of interior).
Usually best along natural clothing seams. Kind of natural if you think about it... all those sewn pieces started out as flat cloth, not unlike a UV layout.
the mouth and ears look like a little shark trying to escape :P I like that the cloth on his waist reads as cloth/fabric ...not so much for whatever is on the upper half
