Dude we only eat roasted peanuts. In the 80's we used to eat the ones with the red skin around them...but you don't see those much anymore. "Under every colored peanut is white one waiting to break out" -R
Yeah it runs miles better than the beta. I could hardly run the beta on high and now I can play Ultra on 144hz 80+ fps. I'm loving every second of this game (outside the server crashes, rubberbanding and sound glitches). Which are slowly going away.
a little update, I still want to add other 80s design elements. I leaned a little away from the "alien" look in an effort to make it look less like a rip off and more like a homage. I'm gonna start projecting it onto the gun uvs soon.
Been having a fever for the last couple of days so haven't been able to work, at least not effectivly :( But got one more prop done which will be my focus-prop, hanging in the middle of the room. After all, what is 80's retrofuture without interlinked television sets?
Just saw this on FB, really good. I like how you did her lower lip and jaw/chin, looks cool. Look forward to seeing where you take the design, so far it looks pretty cool with the badass 80's shoulderpad jacket :D
musashidan, Transpose line is still there, I think both have their uses (many people complain about Transpose, but it's quite powerful once you've figured it out). A regular gizmo just feels so much simpler for 80% of what I used to do with the Transpose line though.
Hopefully this is a joke. Not again, please http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Germany_1%E2%80%930_Austria I'd rather see my favourite team losing than a manipulated game. There have been enough bad referee decisions in the tournament so far, no need to make it look bad again.
If they're large try something more along the lines of what they did in Ghost Recon: https://80.lv/articles/landscape-and-material-pipeline-of-ghost-recon-wildlands/ just custom bake will likely look rough on large things. Custom + tiling should work out well.
I'm determined to complete this character and not leave it half completed like I usually do. I think the high poly is 80%-90% done. I'm going to start building the low poly and start normal mapping to get an idea of where the last bit of polish should go.
Yep. I actually upgraded as well!! 5820k with a 780 running on a 650 80+ bronze. You should be goooood to go. Edit: Also, I love being able to work in Photoshop, Substance Designer, and UE4 without having to close one of them/my computer crawling to a halt!
