Acutally I did a few searches for similar threads but didn't find any that were asking for the same information; most of what I found was more or less Vid Card A vs. Vid Card B. So...you know, my bad I guess? As far as RAM goes, I didn't plan on anything less than 3Gb. My concern with the graphics cards (whether ATI or…
Sage like how you render 640x480 at 720dpi??? 640x480 defines that the image is 640 pixels wide and 480 high, the dpi will change according to the paper size its printed on...
jzero: somafm is where it's at. I don't remember if they have the 48K AAC stream for the Secret Agent feed, but if they do, you should check it out. It lowers the amount of bandwidth that the stream is using.

That is a little jacked to expect them to and then curse them out because somehow they have fucked people. I got a car I LOVE for $4800 bucks and a computer that rocks for 900 bucks. See the difference? If you can actually afford the car, you should be able to get a computer too, no problem.
I dunno, for me AE is a nightmare as it seems like there is NO WAY one can figure it out by oneself - it relies so heavily on keyboard shortcuts with no equivalent in menus or anywhere else in the app. I like programs where, if you understand the core principles, you can find your way just fine. Photoshop and Max are like…
I used to gape in awe at this 'demo' stuff when it was running on my 486 back in the day. Back then the limitations were that you used conventional memory only - 640k, and of course there was no direct x and very limited video memory in those days. Still as impressive as ever. It's a shame that 'Mr Average' would look at…
