Thanks all for the answers, great stuff! @Chimp I found some DIY videos on youtube, but if you've come across any specific ones you found to be awesome i'll gladly take the links!
Thank you @Syrtax i can't wait to see it finished too :) Bake for a DIY helping hands. Most of the attention in the workbench will be around this asset. 10k triangles... wires are hard to optimize :(
Agreed. The current very stylized, tight, almost futuristic typography doesn't fit with cartoony zombies. Experiment with some vastly different styles, like Dii's, instead of making tiny adjustments to your current one.
Hmmm it wasnt meant to be offensive, at least not to you so I have no idea why you seem offended. Anyway heres a better example of making a diy cintiq; http://www.bongofish.co.uk/wacom/wacom_pt1.html
Hello, i am intrested by your work. But do you plan any printed version ? Or maybe do you know any way that i could print that version in a real book [pro service, not DIY] ?
It won't be wireless, I am not sure if you can power-up and record the faceshift camera with some DIY. And a GoPro camera is completely wireless shooting at 60fps, pretty cute. Also it's light and small =)
I'd like to see something from the sketch book thread up there. Or a compilation of of a few sketchs in one banner. Some examples of awesomeness. That thread ownz! Tacit math Daphz Suburbbum Kaktuzlime dii
This reddit thread is pretty interesting, makes me excited to get the technology to a good enough state and into peoples hands just to see what they do with it. http://www.reddit.com/r/DIY/comments/27gttk/my_journey_into_3d_printing/
reason why i follow diy until i seriously need ppl and can pay their wages. or if someone starts bugging me to join cuz he is interested. or have atleast one game done
Finally got to work on this again. :) Next step will be getting some hard-surface motorcycle body forms down. It's going to be a modified 'sports' vehicle with an akira bike feel. Stickers on the body and attached weapons are attached in a DIY rebel style.
