wheres the black with green face shirt? seems like an obvious choice. Either way I will defiantly have to get my hands on some PC merch soon. Never enjoy paying 30 bucks for just a tee-shirt but then again I am a cheap ass sometimes.
I haven't yet, but I am moving into a more R&D role here at work that will allow me time to go crazy testing those things. So I expect to know very soon. I would ASSume that SD and SP are identical, but that may be a poor assumption.
Using 2014 Max Design. File would be maybe useful. I could check all the settings myself. I am off to sleep soon, don't bother with this problem too much. I will try tomorrow but morphing is also a solution. Thanks for all the help so far.
Cool stuff; I remember being fascinated by the faceted terrain style from your WAYWO post ages ago — the vertex colours and lighting can really make some awesome scenery. The premise sounds intriguing too; I hope we'll see more gameplay soon :)
Those crits are all spot on, thanks Bek. I didn't even think about silencer size. I might make another bigger one. Thanks everyone else for the comments too. Should have updates as soon as I can put metal gear down :icon_exclaim:
drmaddogs - many thousand hours indeed! akaChris - Thanks for your report! Teddy is currently flying back from the states today so the answer may take a day or so, I´ll tell him soon as I can about this so he can have a look.
Alright, thanks a lot guys. It helps a lot for me to be able to post up images like this and have it corrected. Just reading the theory isn't doing it for me. Gonna read some more documentation and make the adjustments you said and I'll be back with some more updates soon.
Started doing some low poly and texturing to get a better idea of what the end result might look like. Also, messed around with the lighting and reflections in the scene a little (Sidetracked! Argh) Still a long way to go, but I hope to have more time coming soon.
Indeed, it could get very messy if the whole steampunk style isn't incorporated well, thank you for your advice! Will focus more on the art style that I already have in my designs and ditch the whole steampunk. Will post more soon to check if I'm still on the right track.
