@ tim: Nice, but I wouldn't expect less ;) I started working a courier that is based on an old model of mine... Finished the lowpoly of my owl and cat and baked. Overpaint to figure out the final textures: older concept:
@hawt koffee i had a flashback to the old void model of dota (WCIII days) as for my own bounty hunter shuriken, i ditched the fur part and tried doing a carapace like surface. Feedback is much appreciated.
http://i.imgur.com/Xtm6513.png Is this a common issue? I can't find many posts out there to resolve it *EDIT* My bad, Tis what happens when you accidentally target old TGA's without the correct Channels .... ._.
MdK: tnx mate:) Hi guys , just finished my drow set that I've remade/retouched (wasnt to polished at that time due to lack of skill i guess :D ) Any oppinions? the new version the old version
Yea, but he can still give a maya/max render so we can see the actual product. Hell, he can still compile it into the game the old fashion way to get in game renders out. No excuses.
DimakSerpg : If you are using the 3dsmax, why you just dont import valve model first, then put yours and then move it on the old valve model with xform reseted. And then add bones. I have never had problem with this technique.
Silly question but are you changing your destination file name in the importer? Otherwise it will tell you it imports all the new stuff and show you the old compiled files. Which would explain why your flip is not showing.
If by that you mean parts of the new set can be warn with the old set. According to what valve has said, yes. Based on what they have accepted, no. As long as you keep it in line with the heroes color pallete, there shouldn't be an issue.
/shrug I'm kind of interested in how things will pan out. I played around with the queue for a while and it's pulling up things from over 2 years ago. Maybe the old items/sets will be remembered? That could be cool.
I am officially a Dota 2 artist!!! Congrats to all. Huge patch and great selections. Also, it seems making a pro team item is 100% in! Luckily, this batch of pro items are a big step up from old stuff.
