Nice progress, good to see you take crit in stride. I Still don't think the spike/stud is working for you in respect to the militarized look your going for. Sunkist has it right, stop the detail and map out your contrast/values first and then go into material definition. -

Gotta agree with s6 on this one. And, I'd like to add this: I don't know if you tried to model it, but, personally, when I looked at the reference, it looked fairly simple to do. But then, reproducing it and respecting all the details\proportions was not that easy. In fact, I wasn't able to do it with 100% accuracy :) -

An interesting point, but why use a .mud format, or a .ztl file for that matter. Both are proprietary for their respective applications and hardly what I would call an open format for a pipeline. I'd much rather have a more open and flexible format for pushing my data upstream and downstream in a pipeline. -

If someone says something that offends another person, I think the latter is at fault for letting words control their emotions. Not the person using words to express their emotions. I'm fine with not swearing in front of people who don't appreciate it, but I lose a lot of respect for someone who is afraid of words. -

lol, pretty biased survey. Aren't surveys meant to get as many opinions as possible in a structured way so you can analyze the data so you get an honest view on the subject of the survey? in order for that you need a survey that would respect and listen to both sides of a story. -

Since you mention Game-art workflow, I suggest 3DS MAX or Maya, the former more so. If you are open to ZBrush you have topology and unwrapping tools within it, if not TopoGun and Headus UV Layout respectively. xNormal for baking. Add Photoshop and you're all set ^_^ -

i need help in making low poly mesh....need to know where the tri should be put and wat all should be kept in mind while making a low poly with respect to a normal map. do u know any post in polycount or any link that would be helpful? -

Until your in a position when you want to kill your self, never EVER say suicide is giving up. I knew of a kid who committed suicide after being bullied at school, would tell his parents he gave up and he shouldn't be respected? -

well, yeah, coming from an expectation of it having a huge physics engine and being all out sweat in that respect,,,sure, mediocre. But it's aimed sorta at kids ya know. Plus the game has like a shit load of spoilers in it for the movie. It releases like 2 weeks prior to the movie. -

Hah, have those always been there? :) I've been using the Haywood scripts for a long time and it fit the need well. They respect an UnWrap mod and otherwise jump to the foremost edit/able Poly)... fit the need well enough I even know those were in the default list.
