Rwolf beat me to most of them Displace? like adding a greyscale displacement map. If so yes and you can paint them in real time straight onto a mesh in the viewport i think. FFD - yes its called deform by lattice and the lattice is not tied to the mesh or operator so you can deform multiple meshes with the same lattice if…
The simplest solution if you want to keep the 'cube look' would be to break the mesh up into pieces, like Minecraft does for the shoulders (this was actually really common back in the early PS1 days. FF7 models are a good well known example). If you want actual deformation though, you're going to need it to twist all the…
Thx. sadly I probably won't have the patience to do the characters for this but I'm working my best to deliver the mood. I imagine that wilbur would be an obese pig thats essentially glued to his throne and charolette is frail and stealthy. oh and yes, there will be webs. webbing and bodies in cocoons will be placed…
yeah, i have zero insider experience, my judgement entirely comes from observations like that. Virtually without fail, if a sequel is bad, or just missing the spirit of the original, somebody changed teams or the developers give interviews/postmortems that describe what went wrong (deus ex: IW, etc) The same thing holds…
If you are interested in modeling, heres the way to go. On the right hand side there is a few panels stacked one behind the other : Create, modify, hierarchy, controllers, Utilities. (iirc). Go to create, and create a sphere of any parameters you want. Go to the modify panel. You ll find the parameters again if you need to…
Yep you were right! Much cleaner results with just a single quad. Thanks :) I ended up using a FFD to flare out the bricks, and as they were all instances it didnt take very long at all. Yeah it doesn't tile very well, and the bricks are far to extruded. Going to treat this wall as just an exercise for practising baking…
This is one of the famous ones out there. We had this done in class at some point. Enjoy! http://www.3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials/max/joanofarc/joanmenu.php P.S. Also the Maya version exists just in case anyone was wondering.
Your work looks pretty cool to me. A superb eye for color, clean fluant control of flowing 3d forms and a rich selection of fantasy or fantastical styled pieces. Have you tried Blizzard?Or Bioware? The only thing I can see that could possibly hurt you is that you are very stylish and there are more realistic or modern…
People: Joe Wilson, Sean VanGorder, and Swizzle (Xavier) Tools: Substance Suite, Marmoset Toolbag 3 Studios: Blizzard, CD Projekt Red, and Square Enix Games: The Witcher 3 (technically 2015, Blood & Wine did release this year though), FFXV, Doom
slo-mo will probably be a server side setting, if it isn't already. ruins the game for me really. sorta like using a redeemer in 1on1 maps... before the patch they issued i think the game was more fun, it encouraged the use of all weapons. now they nerfed some of the higher powered weapons and online games are a spamfest.…
