This comment fixed the launcher issue for me. https://www.cryengine.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=125&t=133563&sid=c63f0dd8c11d54d5e7d07f14c05298d2&start=75 "Finally got this fixed, if you still have the issue go to Users/yourusername/AppData/Local and delete the CryEngine Launcher folder, it launches fine after that "
Funny this made me look up my "first" WIP thread. In the posts and title I didn't mention that it was my first. Maybe because it wasn't technically my first character model, but first serious effort. *warning, noodz* http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=43&t=582121
A dirt simple tut on how to get some damage effects on your armor or mech, or whatever: It's the method we're using on our game Clan Commander: http://www.exisgames.com/forums/ This model is the result: http://www.exisgames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3VsHpZGPME

Hey all, I'm trying to get into 3ds max, but having a hell of a time remembering how to frame a selection. In maya or XSI you just press F and it focuses and centers the camera on the object - There must be an equivalent tool in 3ds right? Thanks. **EDIT** I figured it out right after I asked for help. Figures. :|
The Barbados colour scheme on the second one is super appealing. Overall, a white face, coulorfull hair, rustles and red lipstick tend to give more a clown aspect than voodoo one. Regarding you thematic, dark lipstick and F or B hair with asymetric horn will do the trick. Cheers
Damn dude - that's awesome. I'd also be really curious as to how much planning and money it's expected. I've been thinking more and more lately about circumnavigating the globe in 80 days, trying to take Phileas Fogg's route as near as possible. F*** airplanes. It's all about trains and ships.
Great news. Wish bloody BMesh would get finished... I don't think it ever will cause I'm suspicious of the guy who develops it, constantly wanting donations (OMG maybe its F....) but anyways, any plans to code a PROPER cutting tool? That would be a big help in Blender.
I stumbled upon this today - a standalone normal map generator for the mac. Works a treat, it's very similar to the Nvidia filter, though it's obviously not embedded into Photoshop, so you lose the nice layering ability tht nvidia gives you. http://episteme.arstechnica.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/8300945231/m/726000575831/p/2
Not sure what the problem is, I got this result with all default settings. Make sure you center the pivot and freeze the transform of both models before you add them to the baker. Oh yeah and what the f is up with this thread, I can't link in thumbnails so enjoy the gigantic picture.
