If I were in your shoes, I would just straight up low poly model it and then paint everything in the diffuse map. The contest rules say one 1024 x 1024 for the finished character, so I would follow that. -

I also had lots of problems with 2014 with crashes and UI, which is sad because I loved the app...Downgraded to good ol' 2009. Would love to hear what pros have to say of 2014's stability and functionality... -

TexTools not functioning properly?
Hey there guys, I recently installed 3DS MAX 2022(was using 2019) and re-installed TexTools. But it isn't functioning properly. For one, I can only apply one of the built in Checker materials(the first one without the numbers). Secondly, I cannot toggle out of that Checker Material aside from applying a new material from… -
