Inverting your normal map Y axis should help you, select green channel in photoshop and Ctrl + I, SELECT>INVERSE

thanks for your answer! the problem was that I baked without a flipped y channel and had to flip in manually in photoshop before importin in quixel :)

What are you rendering this with? The skin in particular feels pretty unnatural and plastic-y, might be good to use something with a decent skin shader.

Yep, at minimum with an xnormal tangent space bake you'll have to invert the green channel of the normal map, or change the Y swizzle in xnormal.

Yah, its the sharpening that's making it not feel right. It makes the texture have a psudo embossed or contrast-y feel that looks wrong if overdone.
