This is true, for some reason TV and books get it easy yet games have to go through constant scrutiny. Then again both of the former had their initial hardships before being accepted, I guess eventually games will be treated with the respect they deserve. -

There have been mods that have had explicit permission, including being featured on the respective company website that have ended up with cease and desist orders. HaloGen comes to mind. It's just plain better to steer clear of other people's IPs. -

As far as just being straight up disappointed by L4D2, i don't see what's so difficult -- if you're not interested in the game, don't buy it. I'm sure Valve will make a game that is in line with their values. either respect those values or don't. -

I found another option that I forgot about. Subtools preserve their own respective undo history. You could position the physical model figure to fit the shield so the shield is still centered and just undo the model once you are done. Or just make a copy of him. -

it just seems your coming off as quite aggressive towards Apple, its founders and its consumers. Thats why I used the words 'mac hate'. Please respect that there are users of all operating systems that come together to post their game art on this site professional and non-professional.
