the artbook is kinda small. It has a small comic book section and then it has some pages showing all the character sketches and final character drawing with color. Ill try to scan some pics of it when i can.
I really liked Guacamelee's style. As much as I love seeing stuff like the environments in Last of Us, Guacamelee's style had a big influence on some of the hand drawn comic stuff I'm messing with in my free time.
If the character MM posted is the one you're looking for, for future reference the character is Judge Death from the Judge Dredd comics. Should help with your reference image searching :D *edit - eek you beat me too it :) goodluck
Wow, if that was your experience with George, then I'm sorry you missed out. I had him as a teacher for a comic book class at VCU and he was a pretty solid teacher--knew his stuff and gave a sharp, usually to-the-point critique.

Personally, its like the artists game. Every inch of that game is just dripping in incredible art. Outside of that, it was a great new IP from a [then] new studio that wasnt a war game. It was the closest thing to comic books in video games yet.
These two have been getting some much deserved press with this book. They've been defining the Ratchet & Clank games for a decade. They need to do more work with Marvel. I loved the Spider-cat comic they did a bit ago.
this is some really awesome stuff. I love how efficient it is. the sci-fi stuff at the top really reminds me of the old B&W Robotech: Sentinels comics in a very good way. And you wail at 3d? so cool!
