You should be able to use the U and V numbers at top right to move them. Change to Relative mode first (the upper right red-circle-arrow button). http://download.autodesk.com/global/docs/maya2012/en_us/index.html?url=files/UVs_windows_and_editors_reference_UV_Texture_Editor_toolbar.htm,topicNumber=d28e199914
it feels like it is missing the larger shapes overall, it feels very busy right now with all those fine circles. Id try to tone those down an integrate some bigger shapes. http://api.ning.com/files/gHA4wkWOWjcER5Yqo-k5bGH*GN3dXT4gmC-AnVkt6l6HEoZlK9Tkb7RQ82N8bZ-8zwHGYjVI51j4wbmrlU9HIXx1QhvTGX1l/obsidian.jpg
Really loveing the visual style and feel of the last image nice work :) no the branch is okay its the leafy branch texture on the cards. I did a paintover so you can see what i mean, the parts circled are being cut off by your mesh
Hey @CholyArt Welcome to Polycount :) Check out the area I circled in blue. You can see from your reference, the extruded area with the keyhole are actually made of the same face So, in that area, your low poly model should probably look like this;
its looking great! it will be great if u give him rubbery feel, like stretch his legs while he is coming in red circle also i will say shuttle him down in style in end when he is going in final pose good job :)
I didn't realise they were fairies around the heart, they made me think of flies (like the kind of effect you see by a dumpster for example) :poly122: Nice idea though. Agree that there could be more and bigger chunks from the mushrooms. Is there a reason they grow in a circle and not an area?
yes that what malcolm said might be the best way to do it. I tried making that dome and arch thingy with perfect nurb circle shapes and it will look totally different if its done that way. If you want to follow the reference then its impossible to make it geometrically perfect.
Getting closer. At this point assume I'm done with everything and feel free to let me know if I'm missing something. I hope the walls and floor look better now? I will add the transmutation circle and possibly the bucket of "human elements" on the ground. Any thoughts?
UPDATE Ok update im trying to go for a mix between amber heard and tayloor momsen, i just want to learn to make the head look real and proper im having alot of trouble been running in circles with this pls help it wuld be greatly appreciated.
Glad i could help! If you don't want to worry about this difference in colors, make sure you keep the normals you created from NDO below the adjustment layer i circled in red. Its is actually a channel mixer that correct the normal colors.
