Whoa. I thought the character on the ship was a stand-in, but that's actually going to be the character? If so, you have some huuuge difference in polygon density. He's about 50 pixels tall in the shots, but he's got about 3000 triangles? That's quite unneccesary. 500 should be plenty at such a scale.
likewise--hourences--you have been a huge help to the community with your tutorials! I've learned a crap ton from you! Also---there are mobile devices that can push 400-500 draws now? That's awesome...that's about what we maxed out at on Titan Quest! Crazzzzy!
I actually emailed Yiynova and asked if it could ship to EU. Toke like one sec and I got an email saying there EU representative would come back to me. I think there tablets look very sexy! For 300 and 500 dollar it's not that much to fight about!
Houdini Engine is 99$ for indie version. HoudiniFX is 200$ for indie version. 4000K is for full FX license. Everybody in a company doesn't have to use full Houdini. Rest can use Houdini Engine, which is 500$ for normal license. And you can also rent it.
Clip plane value: 0.1 to 1000 (I use first person controller). I had tried for the near 0.2 ; 0.4 : 1.0 and 100 ; 500 for the distant plan, but nothing change. I noticed that happen when there is something bright behind (example a white floor).
I'm curious about whether the haptic feedback is worth the extra cost. The last I checked the system was $2750. while a seat of Zbrush 2 would be just under $500. Add a new Wacom tablet and you're at $1000-1200. Is it any more productive a system?
Thanks man, I appreciate it. I do still have max 5 installed on my system, I'll migrate it over using obj. I didn't see a 5.0 version, but I am guessing it's out there. Thanks again mr cracker eater. 8-)
her nephew dropped my first guitar, my Ibanez RG 550, was discontinued and a beautiful instrument. hairline crack between two of the neck bolts meant that if i tried to string it it would probably fall apart. it now sits in its case, longing to be played... =[
