One of the links there is a really good read. Alex Senechal, talking about his trim sheet workflow. We've linked his Gumroad tutorial before, worth its weight in gold! https://80.lv/articles/tiling-textures-in-game-environments/
A good friend of mine gave me the idea of rescaling the limbs to around 80% for the arms and 90% for the legs. I find it a little disproportionate like this, probably because I'm used to seeing it everyday with bigger arms and legs. What do you think?
That was amazing... Just to see Mustaine, and metallica, on stage would be killer enough, but add Anthrax, and Slayer to the mix? Jesus christ, I gotta see more! Almost brings a tear to this old 80's thrasher's eyes. History for sure. Thanks for the post
I am so mixed minded about this. So many good things, and so many bad things that could happen... the new pic of the joker for example looks worse than jack nicholson.. You'd expect improvement since the 80's
Pretty cool. I played a Flash/Director/Shockwave game similar to HL couple days ago. It was very lame. This one is much better. The bots are smarter, and the animations are great. I get 80 fps with one bot, and 30 fps with seven.
well that the Japanese Pc game indretry for you for reason unknow 80% of japanese made pc game are hentai game. they then to make the more normal game for console... as for the vid on youtube that a Demo so it pritty much crap( they never fix the Bugs for they demo)
Mop this size art test is perfect. It's nice to not see a company ask for 40-80 hours of work. This test looks good too. I really like the wall. The specular on the vertical beams down below might need some lovin though.
Wasn't it Indiana that has Wi-Fi at every travel plaza along I-80? Might be Ohio. My girl and I arrived in Boston a couple days ago, not nearly as eventful a drive as you're having, Jesse ... flat-out boring, in fact.
I am done with the skin and i will upload it tomorrow. I wanted to be something that could be from in Akira with a 70's race/sport feel to it. It is not super in your face 80's/70's sci fi so i hope it still counts. Some pictures:
I'm soo hoping that this will allow me to dump standard rendering for at least 70-80 percent of my needs. Are there soft dynamic shadows in TB2.0? How about some nice glass example? Can we see higher res, 8K or something like that, version of this image?
