seems like your control mesh is a bit too dense. you may want to look into simplifying that a bit for until you get hardcore in the details. Also, it would be a good idea to block out things 1st.
nice job, Im not much of a enviroment guy so Im not gonna be much help in the way critiques, but looks cool to me. Nice to see enviroments in the P&P section, nice stuff for a 1st post 2
This would be my first high-/lowpoly model and I found no polygon budget for the lowpoly weapon. If there is no polygon restiction defined in this contest, what would be your rule of thumb for 1st person view / 3rd person weapon?
I already gave the guy credit I had emailed him privately and he said its cool just make sure to put the info I did in the 1st post , and to keep him posted as well :)
Ok - I just posted an updated beauty shot on in the 1st post and here: - Turned the electrical pole around so it doesn't show mirroring on texture - Reduced noise in road, sidewalk, electrical pole wood, and crater textures.
On this note, could anyone come up with one for me? My name is Jesse Stippel, it's Austrian - Again the surname + 1st name doesn't really flow well. Studio + Skye (My middle name) = Skyedio.com? I dunno...
I'm doing my best so you can throw CREASE+ commands on most of your meshes, atm, like I said it's not perfect but the CORE thing is there no worry :pleased: Also, beta testers are in the 1st post list . :)
Also a slight concept change, let me know what you all think compared to 1st one. and again i take no credit for the art assets in this piece, i just photobashed them together for a proof of concept
Dreamhost is dope, 20 bucks for your 1st year + a free domain with their promo code. and 200 gb of storage, plus unlimited bandwith. its where i host my site, and its nice and fast and tons of space.
I look forward to reading it. By the way my disseration is a good 2 years old now and it got me my 1st honours degree so if you do the same sort of thing I'm sure you'll be fine.
