It looks good from what I can see, but it's way too small to tell what's going on as far details go. I suggest capturing a way more up close/high resolution image for presentation. Also, is this only a high poly? Or is it supposed to be a game model w/ baked normals, etc? Is it meant to be textured?
AK-47 w/ Custom Tiger Paint I wanted to make the ordinary AK fun and new to look at, so I pumped it up with a custom tiger-stripe paint job. Modeled the hi and lo resolution meshes in Maya, baked with xNormal, textured with Photoshop, and rendered with Marmoset. Thank you for viewing my work!
Yeah Bartalon, in orthographic views i am not able to move the joints when in edit pivot(insert key) mode, using Maya 2015. While pressing W i can move joints but when i switch to edit pivot mode the transformation locks up, i cannot move the joints. Trying to learn rigging :) .
thanks for the response tda, so layers are no help to me here? from what iv been reading it would seem they are more like a new canvas than what i want them to be.. i had forgotten about group split, usually only use it when bringing in obj's in a group from max or w/e
Some witch doctor staves: I've been rolling with this idea for having his healing brew to be in his pot still cooking. In-game when WD activates his W(the heal), the space in the middle of his staff starts to glow green so I wanted that green smoke to be coming out of his couldron of goodies.
[ QUOTE ] I have the plain vanilla 6800 and it rocks my socks. Was only 200 bux too. [/ QUOTE ] I agree, I just got one of these too and I can play Doom 3 smoothly w/ 2xQ Antialiasing and 16x Anisotropy @ 1024x768, and it looks killer! It's the 256 pci-express version btw.
That was quick! You should make sure you check your references again and that they are undistorted. The profile of your head looks way stretched. I've attached an animated gif showing how I'd begin adjusting it. And, when I said flat w/ wires I meant like this: http://www.ryan-jackson.net/images/frank_west/frank_flat.jpg
An exercise in project follow through, poly flow, ...well, everything. Shooting for low phone specs. 500 tri max 4 characters. possibly all 8 bit textures w/ alpha if needed. Meshes are close to final, textures/uvs need some work. Tank. 340 tris (x2 with bile), 256 tex. Jockey witch bile
What? Those two things are not comparable. Some terminology to make things clearer: * UV Channel / UV Set / UV Map == Stored UV layout. A single one is often split into multiple for UDIM purposes. * UDIM == A standardized way of laying out UVs as 'tiles', which programs can treat as a series of unique UV sets. * Texture…
@Jerc Fuck yes! You made my day. Allegorithmic are doing so many awesome things as a company, I love it. @Sonicblue, heh manjaro w/xfce is what I'm testing at the moment (have it installed on my laptop and a VM on my pc). Seems to be a good blend of simplicity and performance.
