I can never remember which way around the colour picker works in zbrush, mines custom. but is black your active colour? This would give the apperance of all subtools being masked I guess....press the V key to swap between the two displayed colours
HI 16bit, Thank you so much. I am using normal map, but it hard to tell if its working at the moment. It looks ok, right now. Would you need to make a same node construction for the normal input too? swapping the channels. Thanks alot.
you guys are rocking this! I have hit a snag, I can't get motivated to do my work. I want to but everytime I fire up zbrush, I'm starting at my sculpt so far and I just get... meh about the whole thing :(
It isn't cheap in terms of shader cost but it can save a lot of memory, allows for very high texel density, makes it easy to swap materials out on the fly and allows for clever batching in the renderer. Whether it's a good idea or not will depend heavily on how your project is set up..
Interesting - the dizziness described above sounds a huge lot like the feeling of playing an FPS game on a big projector... The Unfinished Swan (PSN) gave me pretty much the same symptoms, for about an hour. Green tea kinda fixed it tho :)
Update: Added two physical ceiling lamps. One of them sways a bit from the wind, the other is dislodged from its place and swings. I always loved dynamic lights since I played the second silent hill game.
1 hour timed sessions within a theme. Swap themes each week. Seriously unless there is a bottle neck in software, only practice to speed you up. Hotkeys are a standard too, customise your UI to whatever your doing ect.
Just saw this added, a tutorial on adding keys for swapping between the mesh selection modes. http://www.blendercookie.com/2010/05/17/custom-hot-keys/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Blendercookiecom+%28Blender+Cookie%29
Pretty sure I am going to snag this for the xbone tommorow, really excited for the general concept and the art is refreshingly different. Also gives me a strong vibe of the multiplayer for the conker remake years ago on the original xbox which is a GREAT thing.
well the opencanvas program that allows people to connect I have, I wanted to kinda find people intrested and everyone jump on aim/msn or whatever, and then well swap the program around to setup a day (ITs like a 3 meg program)
