This has been bugging me for a while, is there no way to do this? I keep pulling my brush panel off my tray by accident and it is annoying the hell out of me.
Creep den looks like a good start. I like the positioning of the rocks and trees, but think that the tracks could be a more dynamic, interesting shape.. maybe more of a soft "S" leading straight out? You also really want to nestle in the opening into the rock, right now it feels about the same size as the rock it's sitting…
I think i kinda know! like when you can see the bare rock and snow around it, like the transition from the rock-snow texture? I do kinda notice it now! was stuck on a while with that thought it was good but i guess the lighting made it darker so you couldnt really see more of a transition from rock-snow
Just finished the rock at the bottom of page 2, there was some stretching and poor sculpting i could only find once i started the maps etc. I am posting to show you a finished version of the rock previously posted. Let me know the issues i have and what i need to improve on with my next rock sculpt, cheers!
The rocks have good form and you've modelled them out nicely according to the cracks although the actual texture is lacking. I feel as if it's low rez and lacking normal map depth. Re-visit the diffuse or post up some flats for the rock, that'll give a better examination and we should be able to help you make those rocks…
It might just be me, but the rocks feel really giant? The city almost looks like a miniature in images with alot of the rocks. Maybe its just the lack of noisy details on the rocks, or some smaller element on them to hint at the scale. Also, could tweak the lighting a bit more to draw out the lanterns a bit more, add a bit…
There is a huge disconnect between the rocks and the lava. The lava has no glowing feeling, and the rocks do not feel like they have depth inside the lava. You almost want the lava to be radiating through the rocks with a little bit of fake subsurface scattering. This thread might help you with some tips on how to get a…
[ QUOTE ] @AstroZombie: Yeah, they made this little game called Rock & Roll Racing...it's really cool! [/ QUOTE ] Isn't it World of Rock & Roll Racingcraft? The expansion Rock and Roll Racing: The tire burning crusade just came out :P Congrats man, you must be thrilled. Do you know if you can still get the blizzard sword…
Shotgun: My bag holds 803 cubic inches (13 liters) of cargo. It just locks in to my rack via a system they call "Interchange". Press the button on the back and the bag detaches from the rack. This is what it looks like on my bike: Bontrager has a selection of Interchange-style trunk bags you might want to check out.
I've been watching a gnomon dvd and the guy has the attribute editor as a floating window instead of being glued to the side of the screen. Can't figure out how you detach it?
