Thats not a bad idea, its just that we need separate controls for each of the tracks and that might be difficult with it automated like that. 3DSMax 2014 Snapping thru the selection center
Whenever I select a group vertices to snap using vertex snap, it only snaps according to the center of that selection rather than the vertices themselves. So for example if i select 2 different verts, the pivot is that the center of that distance. And the snap only works on the pivot selection and not the verts themselves.… -

eh... I'm more of the opinion that they told a complete story. Beginning and end. I don't really want to explore the navi culture any more because I'm just not that interested in them. I don't really want the humans to come back and fight the navi again, because I've already seen that and I'd have an unbelievably hard time… -

The reset utility also resets the objects pivot to align to the world. If you don't care and you don't mind a modifier being added to your stack the utility is a decent way to tackle it.
