lov those handpainted textures! I lov that shark. I'll have to go with the top one cause the bottom one is too dark. Some of the black was getting 100% black. I agree with the gradient map. That would help a lot. Really like the underwater character too. Really strong painting skills.

Thanks bowen, Here are wires At first I didn't think I was doing handpainted so it is a bit high-poly The eyes are seperate but I will combine it and weld it to the whole mesh because it doesn't need to be seperate also I need to redo the hair. cause it doesn't look good in other views at the moment.
So i guess i'll be starting this off with some WIP shots of two older projects i have revived now. One is a handpainted fanart piece of Diana from League of Legends, imagining a skin of the "arclight" line for her. It's far from done, but i'm having a blast right now :D
Ideally, I would like a job doing handpainted textures or environment art/props. I definitely (probably?) need more examples of those things in my portfolio and will work on some things! I wanted to make a thread where I can post everything I do, not seperate threads for texturing and sculpting :/ Made some beauty shots on the hatchet I did. Also finished my bust sculpt. Finishing up on retopology now. After that it's baking. I'm going to try and go for handpainted textures with some more maps.
