That article has been updated with a correction stating that Mr. Locke actually wants a 100% tax, not 50%. I guess in Texas, the motto, "Go big or go home" really applies. -

how do you know that isn't what Bobo did? Perhaps becasue YOU are mr. fancypantsshaderman and you can spot fancy specular and raytraced reflection when you see it??? -

Cool, thanks for this. So the level lightmaps are actually rendered into bitmaps? I thought Mr. McTaggart was saying they store it all in vertex shaders. But I'm in the dark, so I'm probably wrong. -

thanks chadabees, I did some passes using mental ray render elements and comp them in PS. Raw mr reflections and raw spec mainly besides the render itself. -

I was pretty excited when I realized that Mr. Reese could be The Riddler in the next movie. It'd be nice to see a version of the Riddler that isn't the over-the-top Jim Carey version. -
