grab a basehead with around 40k poly and sculpt them... with the mudbox sculpt brushes in maya... thats also the work you have todo for all blendshapes if you are goin to animate the face... likeness is hard to learn... you need to model hundreds of heads to master it...
Thanks for the info @Swordslayer I messaged Martin. Helical Cyl looks like a lot of fun :) It seems like the bevel profile has been in Modo since 401! A very clever tool. I'm surprised it hasn't appeared in other 3D packages as standard.

I'm just sending my GTX460 768Mb back. Apparently both the 400 and 500 series have a bug or something making them to stop showing the picture after a certain time. BUT i can still recommend it, if it works ;) Otherwise it's just the hassle of switching it.
the presentation is kinda sloppy, and feel rushy. not because of bad thing they showed , because of waaaayyy too many stuff they want to put there within 2 hours. luckily most of it are great stuff. :) im definitely going to ps4, it hard to believe 400$ for insane spec.

Traffic in LA is terrible in general at all times of days, but if your going to go between Burbank and Pasadena I don't think it will be as bad as the rest of LA traffic. That being said, it's probably not going to be good, but it's going to be way better than trying to drive on the 405.

~ $20 CAD/hour is what I'm seeing for a painter in Canada, however it seems high (at least to me) for a 3d model that took me 19 hours. That would put this model at about 400 CAD. idk to me it seems a little high. Thanks for the insight though!
