Morning, I've recently noticed an issue with with one of my meshes where there its giving a cloudy appearance on all subdivision levels. There are no layers on the model and filling the model with a polypaint colour just amplifies the cloudy effect. Anyone have any ideas? Cheers.
Doing all of the above, shit. but the head isn't posed. There's texture preview? The guide I follow said the polypaint it in zbrush, but that would mean I have to subdivide. Too thin? So just make them wider then? I'll try that tbh.
I dunnno why its not working but I just apply a clown paint to the high es model and expot it out with polypaint for baking. The impottant thing is good ivs on the lower res model that gives quixel a chance to use the colors as masks.
Haven't posted anything on this for awhile, small update low poly is completed, unwrapped and beginning to get bakes done. Also did some polypainting for the initial textures which I'll then work on in photoshop. Hoping to spend more time on this and get it finished.
Hope you're still working on this project. You picked up a nice concept and did it well so far ! Are you about doing some polypaint then bake it or texture it straight in photoshop after the baking ? Hope to see some progress soon !
Yea they'll just be baked down onto the shoe low poly, which will just be the silhouette of the shoe really, no need to model details out on something like a shoe, unless its for some first person feet or something. Playing with polypaint..
shotgun, i'll make the snarl once I have the lowpoly + teeth etc. built :) I have to cleanup the tights still, but almost done: I want to see how far I can push her with alphas + polypainting afterwards.
Those textures look really great! Did you usually polypaint before sending it to photoshop? I also think that the wooden bracers should either have a smoother gradient or a harder/more random transition (its suppose to be some sort of moss right?)
Hello! Idea took from my concept of Rabbit Girl I did this project for my pleasure That only highpoly and polypaint and few hardsurface and rendering ) Enjoy ) Concept https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lV1lGa More render Picture there https://www.artstation.com/artwork/VdNZ1R
Im going for tim burton style. I want to detail it as much as possible and still have it be stylized. it doesn't nescessarily need to fit in any game I just need it to be able to be used in a game it's going to be a portfolio piece. polypainting, zbrush, the whole deal?
