You need to learn the term "diminishing returns". Just unwrap it, relax it, run it through iPackThat. Move on. The company isn't paying you to twiddle UVs for days on end.
UV: 3dcoat to mark seams and to relax, I will stitch together and polish it in my main 3d package. Baking: Anything that can render object space normals -> Handplane
Today's still life. Really happy with this one, light and shadow isnt as pronounced but I was more loose and relaxed throughout the process and I think it turned out the better for it!
Putting the model in a more relaxed position will make it easier to rig down the line. Even with the hand fix it's still going to have problems, especially when making fists and such.
One question, how will you guys sculpt the arm clothes in the Anubis' A-pose?? How would the relax state of arm clothes look? I may be joining the challenge^^
I'm not done but this is my progress for the hour and half I worked on it tonight. It's kind of relaxing after a day of work to listen to your favorite album and do some sculpting.
