Haha you are right about the mirroring Toomas! I was checking out some symbols out of Batang and realised that I ended up using two random signs for now, but I'm still very curious about the originals, and the meaning if any. Couldn't open your second link tho. Yes Dizzy it's Doom3. Most of the shots shown in the thread…
[ QUOTE ] ....I am working from max exporting an ASE file with 3 surfaces, head, torso and accessories (also 3 textures, 512,256 and 512*256)... [/ QUOTE ]If those are individual textures then each part of the model they sit on needs to be split into a physically seperate mesh; you can't use 'multimaterials' in D3…
Started texturing one of those buildings to see how it all will work out in the end, and the results are being quite satisfactory. I'm using six 4096x4096 textures for these two walls in order to get as much unique/high res detail as I can. The graffiti at the bottom is just a place holder I used to see how it would look…
You have to own the games for their editor to work, so if you want Radiant to work for you with all it's options you need one of the many games it supports so you can test out whatever you decide to make. Grab a copy of a game you admire like say Quake 3 Arena, Unreal 2004, (comes with the editor)and I heard the editor for…
oh sweet! Thanks Tony! guh... X3? really? I couldn't stand almost anything in that movie. it's kind of interesting how we're opposite on these two movies. Here's the 1080p version of the new trailer for those interested.…
Crusader: No Remorse, MDK2, Doom, Command & Conquer (Tiberian Dawn), Demon's Crest and 7th Legion (a bit cliche) does it for me. Outlaws is damn outstanding though and it's some of the best game music i've ever heard and it's true to the game's atmosphere, it's worth buying the game full price for the music alone.
http://www.planetbattlefield.com/mdt/ For Battlefield I recommed that you start by cracking up the .con files of the vehicle of you choice and start looking through those. The easiet way is just to backup everything, replace the model files (.sm) repack with a rfa packer (for example WinRFA) and start swearing. The most…
You did saw the tutorial vids in zBrush2 ? - make sure you also road the "Practical Manual.pdf". In the manual is a article how to handle in/export with different mdlprogramms. If the import "changes" the form of the model - take a look into the helperfunctions of Zbrush2. There is something like "welding vertexes by…
This is just a quick progress update. There's nothing to show at the moment, I just wanted to reassure those interested that work has been continuing on this pet project. In response to some of the replies I got, I've been investigating the other available 3D Flash engines. I've focused for the last few days on Away3D, and…
