hello, i am new to this forum and quite new to zbrush and 3D modeling in general. im looking for some advice and critique on my current project for university. i am mainly having problems with the forearms, i havnt touched the hands and feet yet. thank you brandi-marie
Im not using a UDIM workflow, its just sets of textures. Marmoset hasnt been giving me any issues with texture limits atm. Those 14 are just the main ones, Ive got a few more for things like eyelid shadow, base etc. :)
Well im using the razer copperhead best mouse i've had so far, havnt had any pains in my wrist or hand as of yet, not unlike my old mouse which would make me wrist really hurt after a few hours!
@Gumbata - your UVs are looking good first time making a lowpoly from zbrush and it's daunting. I'm using zphere to topo. Don't know how I'm supposed to do it. Just under 900 polys so far, so I guess I'm close.
The huge eyes make it look gaunt and creepy, unless this is a young foal I guess. But the eyes are still probably too big and besides, could use more pertness to the musculature, hind legs and butt for sure. Looks more like a dog right now to me.
well thats a shame. if you have the same dynamesh resolution and havnt touched the mesh, even if you press the dynamesh button it wont update because its already "up to date". have you tried importing the model to another program and then back to zbrush again?
@chrilley Unity 2d is fine, missing some features but perfectly fine for 2d pixelart games (I've made a few!) the one thing it does lack is out of the box no-scripting. You need to program your own ... well basically everything. Which can be daunting.
If you are a novice then i would advice scaling down the project a bit. Start small and build from there. The entire city is a daunting project even for an experienced artist. You probably can start making a good harpoon gun? Thats atleast a bit moore manageble
very creative is right way to sell a bipedal bug, havnt seen a good one.... ever this is tight tho like it alot only crit is maybe looks a lil off balance? but i dunno im diggin deep for that its quite the nice piece. -Woog
but everyone read the davinci code because it was what everyone was reading. you'd see everyone reading it, then they'd be talking about it around the watercooler or something. lots of people who hadnt read a single book in 10 years all of a sudden pick this up and think they are theologists.
