Hey guys, i wonder if someone could help me with some hardsuface modeling problems.. Im trying to make the topology as clean as possible so there is no pinching. Here are the problems im having. I would apreciate some guidance on this, as im pulling my hair already -

Yah, agreed. And from personal experience dependent upon optimised edge flow or indeed segment count, boolean operands needn't be an absolute chore to efficiently implement, only practice, practice then more practice will enable a progressive fluent competency via perseverance over time, as others alluded too earlier… -

All of those brushes can Zadd or Zsub into the geometry. They won't necessarliy have a dull angle if you change the Alpha. I use the defaul square alpha for my Trim brushes 90% of the time. Hi there and welcome. Zbrush can help for the blocking out stage, but if you want to be serious about hard surface modeling you'll have to learn how to do it with proper polygons and subdivision. The examples you mention (Gears3, industrial design, sci fi props) rely much much more on regular modeling than on zbrushing.… -
