Now that we're focusing on it-- it's kind of weird that the hair is glued to the armor/growing out of it-- I had imagined it sprouting from a gap between the armor. Cool concept! The upper body looks about 2x as wide as it should be. I also think you need to think of the different parts of the armor and how they would be made in the real world. Scuplting in the cracks isn't really working atm. I would break each piece apart and really feel out the volume of the armor to give it depth.… -

I think what he meant was, your armor reinforcement panels are each sitting separately on the that one base plane. But in real life, and in your reference, armor reinforcements like that are usually layered one over top of each other. Nearly wrapped up my retopo and UVs. I'll be using three texture sets: Weapons, Armor, and Clothing w/Skin. I decided to hop into texturing the weapons to take a break from all the retopo and uv packing working. My bakes are complete for the Weapons and Armor. Oh WOW! That's pretty boss....The only thing that I'd say is perhaps put moree of aura around the sword/ perhaps make the shoulder pads more defined..... oh god man o mule hit the nail on the head, the damn amnesia used to make the character a blank slate so the player apparently identifies more with them. I hate this, usually leads to a predictable stoyline with a boring character. also, giant armored space marines are becoming super overused, its like to be more badass…
