Heh, when the coders are working 80+ hours a week... so do we, so not a lot of free time. Thanks for all the input! Keep it coming! This is definitely helping me see my stuff from other points of view to help trim the fat.
The 70s and 80s Sci-Fi scene notable features is of course laser beams. With this in mind, I hereby present PC-CSGO | PP-Bizon Laser Warning. This is a red laser based warning sign that is mapped with hydrographic style. http://imgur.com/ANSavgG
I'm a big fan of 80's style anime ( don't care too much for newer stuff) and really like the old outrageous japanese games like Ganbare Goemon.. so this is a bit of an homage to those unfortunately i am not the best 2d artist but heres a mood/concept sketch i did
Hey guys, going to work my butt off today trying to finish a MP9 skin I've had planned but was too busy to complete or work on. The theme I'm trying to go off is 80's electronics and how advancing it was for the generation. All the buttons, knobs, lights, signals all represent something.
So I am going to make a skin based around 70's and 80's sci fi (obviously). The idea that I have thought of consists of what the future of architecture was envisioned to be. Any constructive criticism is welcome. The image below is my inspiration for this project;
I'd agree with Ark, any $7-40 keyboard will all feel about the same, just got to your local version of Microcenter and feel them out. Decent mechanicals start around $80 usd, but will last 10-30 years.
There really are too many awesome movies as an 80's kid to pick just one =\ Dracula is trying to take over the world, recruits other legendary monsters and there's a scary German guy. Seriously, a fun watch, especially if you have kids.
I think the texture could still use some work. The obsidian looks very plasticy, the warpaint is too perfect, and in general he seems a bit too clean. I'd say you're about 80-90% there, but not 100 just yet.
Hey guys. So I pushed most of my textures a bit more and probably got the scene to about 80% complete. Right now I am looking for ways to push into the 90 percentile. Any critique would be greatly appreciated.
