Thanks for the feedback. I can see normal maps fine with my current card when I play games or render out a scene. The card doesn't see real time shaders that require directX 9c or open gl higher than 1.1. Do the latest detonators drivers update those? I currently have an Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3 which is perfectly fine if you don't plan on doing any overclocking and it supports HyperThreading and all. I don't know if there's a new one out already, probably. edit: Oh and it doesn't have an integrated graphics thing, so that makes it a lot cheaper than i7. No overclocking… -

Your FOV is set to 133 degrees, which is very wide. A previous version had FOV bound to the mousewheel, but I think we changed this in 2.05 so its ctrl+mousewheel so its harder to accidentally change the FOV. If you're still using 2.04 you should update to 2.05. You should probably spend some time setting up nice lighting.…
