All I can tell is that they both look great. Beyond that, one has actors and fast-moving cameras, the other has awesome breaking rocks and lava magic. -

You might want to search for peel rollout in 3ds max documentation.What you want is not really pelt but Lscm unwrap where you put the seams and magic happens :) . -

Isn't this tech in addition to hair cards? I thought this was a gap filler between hair cards and full blown simulation. Basicly allowing hair simulation magic on top? -

Today I finished the high-poly mesh of the turrets base. Next will be setting up the UVs & explode the base, baking down the normals and then again some nDo magic. :) -

man, Silent Hill was a magical thing, the story behind it's development would make a good movie: a team of underdog rejects that everyone gave up on doing their own thing. -

I hope you don't mind, with a tiny bit of photoshop magic it looks a lot better. It really looks awesome, just needs to be pushed farther and exposed more.
