[ QUOTE ] I don't know how serious you are, but the entire 'be a man' concept sickens me, and that extends to derogatory remarks about one's credentials for the position. [/ QUOTE ] I think you need some serious Randy Savownage. i also love this
Grab some human photo reference too to see what all this stuff under the hood looks like in practice. Also, don't mistake the changes in colour on your current reference for depth. That's where your extended butt crack was coming from.
That gun looks like it's based off the FAMAS to some degree, the scope doesn't do it any justice IMHO, if you added some features from say the Styer Aug as well as extending the length of the barrel, you'd then have a reason to keep the scope.
It's definitely at the low end... but still usable. At least the drawing area is good. You'll definitely want to find out about the pen, if it's comfortable for use over extended hours, if it requires batteries, or even if it's wireless..and I hope you graduate to a Wacom eventually.
renderhjs - How do you get to that Extend UV's Canvas box? I must be thick, cause I can't seem to find stuff with textools. BTW, after you resize the canvas, is there a way to make Relax take the new ratio into account?
Home; (resized and extended from some smaller res, with a 1280x800 version for my other monitor - I don't have icons on my desktop do I didn't bother with a screenshot) And here at work, just some Mirror's Edge concept art.
Maya is a coding platform with GUI. That's the reason why its the standard right now. Everything you see in Maya can be coded by you, yes every bits of UI and interface. Its very easy to extend and inyegrate into any pipeline. Nuke is the same way.
Looks pretty good I just have a few changes that I'd recommend from when I just did it. Extend the left cabinet down a bit and slim up the center island. Also I'm not really sure what the box is on the top left.
Trying something very different with the base. I gave it some legs, and made the yoke around his neck extend down into the abyss. Not much time to work on this today,so it is a quick mockup, but I'm interested to see which general direction people prefer!
Sweet! Small critique: The pilot will likely be exhausted from riding this vehicle for extended periods of time without something to rest their upper body on. Any way you can work in some functionality to the vehicle where there is a padded abdomen or chest plate for them to lean in to?
