@klamante: Looks schweet! Great work. I like how the hand painting blends the overlapping faces / separation of the focus gear mount to the body of the binoculars. @Pep_mepla: Good start so far. I noticed a few missing parts, though you mentioned it's still in progress so anyways. Just a thing to keep in mind is things…
Me to! IF had i see that before making a thread i probably wouldn't just entered that(dice) super easy character instead of all this above(thread entries). =) Progress slow going but going, some tests also. "squared it all" strategically also, still have to "cross examine it all still", but otherwise "working for tests".…
As for the shield i am in the process of finishing up the texture. Here are some progress shots. Just like with the sword i used the hard edges to OpenSubdiv technique. The Zbrush sculpt Using the lowpoly i started with i made a few adjustments and baked it down in Substance Painter.
Hello everyone my name is Sylvanna and i want to share my wip of a real time character model of Formula 1 Pilot, Max Verstappen, It's not even 10 percent complete, I just wanted to show a little bit of the progress.
Hey all, thought I'd use this space to throw around process stuff and progress on various projects. Here's one I just polished up. It's a UE4 scene with a bunch of sci-fi props that I concepted in 3d and then brought into the engine. This is mostly using tiling textures, with a few Substance Painter based procedurally…
Heres something I've wanted to be able to do for a long time and ive figured it out in Maya now. A sort of progression of the animation, just like how you can show a wip to the final but animated ;) Blocking- spent a whole day because I didnt know how to model in Maya, or constraints, or to save often ;p…
best to make your own thread and show progress of your model as you are working on it, and at each stage of the process try to get tips before you start, and then get critiques after you finish. For tips before you start you should mention your goal for the stage, how you plan to accomplish it, and then ask for feedback…
Sam, Nice to see your progress. There's not much to say for now, except that the current lighting seems good enough and the rocks look great. I went to your blog and read through the different stages of your work. I found some nice tips. Thanks for documenting your process.
@AnthonyAnimation Yeah sorry! I was meaning to do some, but I ran out of time and this animation was coming in hot. (Where does the time go, right?!) I'll be writing some in-progress posts next, detailing my workflow and thought process. Hopefully, it'll be helpful. Cheers and good luck!
Thanks Sacboi! Not gonna lie those track links gave me a lot of grief and aren't finished yet :'( Getting some more progress in tonight: Finding reference for the back is pretty rough ...
