Yeah now that i look at it, i may have to edit the vertex painting. I will also edit the colors to be more in tone with the rest of the enviroment. Will update soon. Thanks alot for the feedback
Yeah, 4096 is 4 2048s, or 16 1024s, or 64 512s. Plenty of space, this is enviro work so you can do a lot of modular stuff, and a lot of tiling textures with that space.
I know there was a thread about this already, but i cant seem to find it. What are the average polycount specs for psp, ds, and if possible, cell phones. I'm looking for texture map info and size aswell. I'm focusing on props and enviroment.
Hi there Polycounters. My name is Damian Jara and I'm a freelance character/Enviro artist at cView Studios and Turbusquid. I will try to paste some of my works here. Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/damian85osg Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/damian_jara_art/
You should check out http://ctrlpaint.com its not about enviroments, but he has many many useful videos for painters and digital artist that i found very helpful.hope it helps (:
Thank You for reply. I'm still learning 3d, thats why I experiment with different baking methods, enviroments, etc. I'll stick to marmoset preview to avoid this kind of bugs.
I might join, do a stage, a little enviro piece. Props and shit... but can't decide if I got the time to pull it off or just put it in the list of unfinished projects. :S
Very inspirational post, thank you. I'm always try to get some enviroment done and always struggle on the projects scale. :( Seems I have to learn more modular workflows. ;)
That sounds pretty nice. Was able to take a look at the game while someone played it at work. Looks really nice. I love that enviro. Have to think about if i grab a copy :)
