I agree with a lot of what's been said here. The buttons are ghetto, a little tough to read, and inconsistent with the rest of the site. I like the one thumbnail for each piece in the main gallery idea. The mouse-overs may be complicating things, and I don't really notice them. If you're really worried about too much…
Yeah it looks really good on my mobile (samsung note 3) The text size is perfect and the images are colorful and dynamic. The site text looks too big when it is on my comp browser and on the phone there is this funky button graphic for closing the images. Should just close without any extra buttons. Well done man!
@genwu I'm using the custom toolbar :] It's probably due to me not knowing how to accomplish what I'm after. I'm trying to copy over the default snapping button, but when I copy the form and place it under CoreUI custom toolbar I get that weird tick box without the functionality of the default button whatsoever :skull:
The problem is your support edges, they're adding uneven poly density in those areas. Instead of using support edges, instead maintain an evenly quaded base mesh, and in zbrush use subdivide with the Smooth button unchecked (next to the subdivide button) to get a denser mesh before using subdivide with smoothing to get…
Are you hitting the auto-smooth button afterwards? Because 1) don't do that, and 2) it will auto-smooth to a completely faceted model because the angle is set to 0. You just need to select the faces you want to have smooth, and then click the [1] or [2] or [3], etc, smoothing group buttons to put them in that group. Then…
The lower limit is imposed on the spinner on the UI. You can set a lower radius with MaxScript. To make the code re-usable, paste the following into a new MaxScript editor window. Then select the text and drag it to your toolbar. It'll make a button for you. Then you can right click on the button and edit the appearance.…
If the vote was still going I would have gone for #2 too, had more weight to it and felt less stiff and suffocating. Like the huge button you put on the collar of her shirt. I like big buttons (and zipper for that matter, *hint hint*). Interested to see what you have in mind for her pants.
I want to know if the touch ability's would be good enough to replace the need for the buttons. I keep looking at the bamboo fun ($200) and the Intuos4 med ($350). I'm unsure what to get for home... Correction the bamboo still has 4 user defined buttons. I think i'll give the bamboo fun a go.
@mickeyvpn I'll see what I can do about that. Just for everyone to know: you don't need to hover the actual button, you just need to move the cursor a little bit in the direction of desired button. The said travel distance is very low even now, it's just the visual representation that makes it look cumbersome.
The srgb button is enabled in the vray FB so it's displaying the image as gamma corrected. But this is essentially a preview(see this by disabling it) When you save your image click the radio button 'override' and set it to 1.0 This will save the image as you see it in the FB. You can also do this in PS by doing a levels…
