Hey man. So..I'm not completely following you here...a picture would make this a little easier. So, does the actual position of the cable move? or does it just follow a path? If the shape of the cable doesn't need to change, then you can have an animated UV layout so that the texture scrolls instead of the mesh actually…
Thanks buddy! Actually I started the drawing because I was bored as f*** and after a while I started to like it. The next time I'll remember that form follows function and rendering follows form. I'll think about how to redesign the neck while keeping at least a part of the solid bars (I like them a lot)
2016.9.25- - -10.3 By analyzing the Model in the 3dsMax, it was found the Model was composed by the following three static components. The Model was exported to 3DXchange by FBX format and found the Size was too big and no texture was shown. The Model texture was found as DDS format and converted to JPG by using Online…
If it would help me do better, I'll do it. I feel like there's this path every professional artist has followed to some degree to get where they are, but I've allowed myself to not follow that path and just wander around aimlessly and become distracted. Where would you suggest learning Foundational Fine arts as a school…
That seems a little weird and hard to follow at points but that could be my distaste for video tutorials. I think Jet_Pilot is right I remember having to tweak that setting too. I would try following Neil Blevin's tutorial it worked for me a year or so ago just fine.…
Ahh crap you mean to say they pulled that one guy out? Damn it! Seriously though how many did Canada even have in Afghanistan? On a side note though, I find it interesting the rest of the world follows our elections so closely. The US never really follows any countries elections closely at all.
Not sure i follow your question, but if you follow the simple rule of 1 smoothing group per UV island, you should get seamless bakes. I found with xnormal, outside of 1 smoothing group and 1 UV island bakes, you NEED to bake with a cage. But that's is just me.
Here's the baked lowpoly. It stands at 9k tris, which is abit much I think, but it works. I have some normal seam issues which im going to follow a tutorial to fix. It's most obvious on the front tire. Ilya Nedyal is a tough act to follow hah. His vespa is amazing!
I'm not a big fan of the social injustice docudramas, so the two I'll recommended will seem a bit out of place here: - Carrier (multi part docu I saw on Hulu that follows the lives of a number of individuals serving on an aircraft carrier) - Dust to Glory (follows a few individuals doin the Baja 1000)
I've found the critiques here to be much nicer than many art directors. Learning to listen and follow suggestions here is very good experience for a studio where they're paying you to get it 90% right the first time, and want you to follow precise directions on how to take it the last 10%.
