Not all the professionals here work in videogames... and less doing maps ¬¬ Perfomance is not a problem if you have the newest quadro, but as you said, a quadro is not a big deal. Perfomance could be a problem for game content if you buy a cheap and old quadro 4 generations older... Try a new quadro fx 4800 or 5800 (here… -

We've used these cards at our studio, and all have had pretty much the same viewport issues(viewports will stop rendering after a while, or jsut render total garbage in them). nvidia 6800, 7600, 7800, 7950, 8600 gt, 8800 gt and a few random ati cards, i think x800, and hd3600? allllll of them have issues, fuck maya! -

You mean triangles right? 2k triangles per item? xD Anyways, I try to shoot for a little less - while also maintaining visual fidelity. The end result has been custom scenes that perform great while looking like many more triangles were used. My motto with game environments is to create more with less; do more with less.… -

Your completly right. I need to come here more often.... As for the cones, the leader of the mod told me the storyline is set inbetween RE2 and RE3. oXYnary, I ran the demo on a P4 2.4, 1GB ram, 6800gt... I left it at the default graphics setup that the game recommended. I played for a few minutes and was surprised at how good it looked & ran... granted I've been too busy to play past the lighthouse area... so maybe it will slow down (or crash) as I move forward.
