You should use whatever you need to make it look like whatever it's meant to look like. It would help if you showed us the concept. But if you want to have harder edges you should insert extra loops nearer to the corners (the nearer you insert them, the sharper the corner will be). Or you can just use turbosmooth and tick… -

That's a nice looking colour texture there. The normal map is clearly made via the Nvidia filter, but it does the job ok for a quick asset. Hard surface subdivision modelling is used instead of or alongside sculpting to make model parts that require a smooth surface with sharp edges. Examples are cars, robots, armour… -

2, 46ich £100, rear-views and a 56ich, £800 rear-view. Occasionally i set them up for multi-monitor mayhem and the picture quality is pretty decent. Not as a good as a plasma or Led/Lcd but it does the job brilliantly running on Hdmi's. Just saying if your looking for a lower budget tv and then invest in something else,…
