here's a quickie-deformtest (avi, 300 kb) that i cooked up in an hour. not really a serious animation since that stuff takes a lot more time to achieve.
I did stumble on Nanite and was curious what it was. It sounds pretty cool. I'll have to look into giving it a try when I import the mesh in. I'll probably try and keep the tri count around 300-600,000 though. We'll see.
just mucking around with Blender 3.0 alpha. i notced that eevee and cycles seems a litle ncier re output, or it might just be this one scene.. will do some more tests

lol 500 bucks if you want what you're asking you're looking at 300 - 500 USD a day for a professional job. I'd rethink your budget or scope of your project
if game of the year is based on hours played... team fortress 2 should win. over 300 hours of gametime just this year. :) red faction was pretty awesome though. and of course ghostbusters :)
