another possible method is to create a sphere and all the separate patches. Now create a space warp/geometric conform object for each patch. Set the conform object to have a lookat controller to the sphere and set the sphere as the wrap to object of the conform object. now bind the patch to the conform space warp object.… -

There was once a Quake level for touring the NCC-1701D with great interactivity (go to most of the significant decks, use jefferies tubes, use transporter to any deck, start a coolant leak, and even control the ship's force fields). What everyone else said pretty much. I don't know a fat lot about character modelling, but rather than T-posing its best to model in a relaxed pose, rather than the un-natural t-pose. Reason is that by modelling a character in a forced t-pose shape you make life hard for yourself once it comes to rigging. It may cause alot… -
