Make it a mover, and make sure Light Environment Component and Synthesize SHLight are enabled. You can't use precomputed lighting with a dynamic object anyway.
Looks like the mipmapping is disabled on your textures for some reason. It should be enabled by default. Texture properties->mipmap gen->from tex group
Max 2012 has Gamma and Lut correction enabled by default. You can disable it by going to "Preferences > Gamma and LUT" and uncheck the box to deactivate it.
mikkT plugin is the default but this settings is not enabled by default I believe: XNormal itself remembers the setting... so maybe it is used or not used when it is on/off.
