Hm i see this as a non-issue tbh :p at first yes it's annoying, but then you get used to putting two brackets to your code anyway. if you make a plan to do this I'd consider making a single dollar an unlikely bonus. It's a real crap shoot and you are going in with no advantages. I'd say go for a backpack. Just keep it a simple design and it'll add to the guy's silhouette. Bonus! As for your proportations you might want to have another stab at them.
