Hi so after careful scale test I have set the main height to 320 units and made the first pillar :) . Now moving to modular textures, fingers crossed though cause im pretty sure circular parts will be pain especially on the floor which I still have to figure out how to model.
"[...] where the starting salary is 15CAD/hr for QA testers and 19$/hr for 3d artists. That comes to an average of 30K to 40K annually. And these are the bulk of hires, so how is the figure so inflated?" Well, this could also mean that people who are *not* QA testers and 3d modelers are much better at negotiating their…

Max and Maya aren't so great with animated textures. In max you have to use a IFL file, which is basically a text file that tells it play a sequence of images. Make sure your files are numbered sequentially (001, 002, 003 ect) and then you pick the first image, check on "Sequence" and it will build a IFL file for you.
17 textures doesn't seem that much, it probably has multiple materials; I expect it's fairly game-ready. I see two for headlights, two for tyres, as an example in that screenshot ;) Last vehicle demo I worked on (also in UE4) had around 80 materials and 300 textures. It was a bit of a beast, but ran reasonably well.
Just uninstalled whatever I had installed and installed a fresh version of 3.02 and the problem is now gone. I don't recall having a popup for updates but I changed the login from a trial version that's been expired for quite a while now. Having recently purchased it I probably should have done a fresh install to begin…
I got a used 21UX (for 300$) from a game studio that shut-down, and its been going strong for several years. I'd love to upgrade to a new one, but that is a pretty big expense. The color accuracy isnt great, and I notice it has a warm-up period before it achieves accurate brightness/contrast color temp.
i wonder what there point was for making it harder to play with known friends. Its not like friends made it easier in Demons souls. Bosses did about 300-600 more damage on NG++++ With friends for me. As they said it gets harder in Multiplayer Now the hard part is waiting until your both in the same server to play together
