Probably a long shot but I'm really stuck on this. I'm working with the xgen interactive groom editor in Maya and trying to add collision to hair guides. Yes. If you're not using a plug in that lets you manipulate and generate curves, and/or creative polystrips from curves, you should look into that for the hait workflow. Xgen (maya), Geo to Curve (modo) plugin, etc.
