Great improvement Saman! glad I could be of help :D I think it could still be brought down a LITTLE, but it's still acceptable for where it's at as far as art is concerned :P. I wanna see the rest of her now! You may have just made a bust, but you should totally do the whole body :)
ScoobyDoofus - Really nice skin tones and silhouette on that head. Which rendering engine did you use? How did you achieve the eye shader, if you don't mind? I think I'll stop posting in my portfolio thread and start posting in this one. Hot out of the oven, another night elf bust:
@kurthectic I like your gun, but I definitely feel like it could use some more finesse, especially in terms of the texture. It seems like you put too much effort into modeling the gun to have it be let down by a quick texture job. @afisher That bust is amazing.. your work always inspires me.
been a while since i had time to doodle in zb! Spent a few hours sculpting and rendering/compositing this creature bust.. Twas supposed to be orcish til i went for a more flesh toned skin. Done in ZB 4 and Photoshop. :) *update* Also did a One Piece fan art-- Roronoa Zoro from the strong world ova. :)
@ Lextripper -- I think it reminds you of the arenanet challenge ... but there are arguably no copied elements in eazy's concept. They look like they are from the same universe for sure ... and you could even hotswap one costume for the other due to body types, but the elements that make the costumes are very different.…
@ Saman Thanks dude I will add some more color. Actually I had an idea how to make the bust a bit more interesting to. I was thinking about adding an swamp scene for him with some bugs flying around his face or something :) @ SleepingGiant Thank you! @ Ravenslayer Thank you so much man. I love the Disney Doodles you are…
Hey guys, I'm new here, but I thought I would post up a bust sculpt I did in zbrush. The concept is a mix between an angler fish/eel, and a space marine. I wanted to give him a cool story to him, so I ripped off one of his fins and attached a medical apparatus that part of him to keep him healthy. :)
More of my usual crap. This was an old bust I started fiddling with in between other 3D stuffs. Its funny... I googled some pictures of Tommy Lee Jones for eye bag references, and now the whole thing kinda looks like him without me meaning to. Obviously the hair is all PS paintover along w/ some eye shadows & wetness.
Busted out the oils again. WIP, going to be an Christmas present for a buddy of mine. This has a funny story behind it, it started out as a sketch, and my buddy loved it so much that he picked it up when it was wet. Needless to say he left a lot of fingerprints on it and felt really bad.Several months later, I found this…
